Polaris RZR XP 1000 Storage Solutions
One of the biggest problems with all UTVs is the storage options are always minimal. Unless you need something while driving, most gear ends up in the bed. There are a few mounting points in the bed where you can tie things down, but if you want ot contain smaller gear, you need a box or bag to contain your swag. There are already hundreds of Polaris RZR accessories for the XP 1000, and bags and boxes are fortunately on the list. The following are a few of our favorites. For these and many of parts for the XP1000, visit www.sbsparts.com.
Polaris makes their own lock and ride storage box for the RZR XP 1000, but this one can be put in place of the passenger seat if necessary. The gear box uses poly construction and holds 2.5 cubic feet of cargo in a water and dust proof space.
SuperATV makes a bed cargo box that is one of the best uses of the bed space that we’ve found. This easy to install box is an excellent place to store your loose gear. The box includes 4 latch and go mounts. There is a rubber gasket that lines the box opening to keep out moisture and dirt.
If you only do super heavy duty, Ryfab makes the most impressive bed storage box anywhere. The box is constructed using aluminum diamond plate for a lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant storage solution. The Ryfab cargo box uses an easy open and close lid that is shock equipped. The cargo box allows the storage of all of your riding gear while leaving plenty of room in your cooler.
A spare tire mount is also a good use of the RZR XP 1000’s bed space, and Polaris makes their own tire mount to store your spare. It can be mounted in 5 minutes, and does not require any tools for installation. Removing two fasteners allows you to pivot the tire holder up to gain access to the contents of the cargo box. It mounts on the rear cab frame extension by Polaris and even includes an integrated lug wrench for easy installation or removal of the spare tire mount on the fly.
