If you enjoy learning about history, you will probably enjoy traveling to some of the most popular historical locations where the events of the World War II took place. Below is the list of some of the most popular destinations related to World War II:

-Pearl Harbor. It is the location of probably one of the most famous World War II events. On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked the American naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This event resulted in the United States being involved in the events of World War II.

-Auschwitz. This is where the Holocaust took place. Millions of Jews were murder at the order of Hitler. A visit to Auschwitz is an interesting but sad history lesson.

-Stalingrad. The battle of Stalingrad was one of the major battles during World War II. The German armies together with their allies fought the Soviet Union for the control of Stalingrad. This was the bloodiest battle in the history of warfare. Two million people lost their lives near Stalingrad between July 17, 1942 and February 2, 1943. The casualties included civilian casualties as well.

-Many places in the UK, France, Poland, and Germany witnessed some of the events from World War II. The locations are many, and they would take a long time to visit.
